There is an immense amount of ornate plasterwork in Great Britain in many different styles. Over the years much has become damaged or destroyed. The means of restoring and conserving ornate plasterwork has changed over the centuries.
Broseley London and the Classic Cornice Co. have collaborated on many projects over the last 30 years. Their projects in Earls Court Sq. was both challenging and rewarding. The ceiling in the main reception needed to be replaced, which meant that all the original ornate mouldings, would need to be replaced. The mouldings were removed and catalogued. Taken into the workshop to be cleaned, reproduced and then returned to the house to be installed. The result was a stunning ceiling, restored to its former glory.
